A Lovely Evening in the Hills | Golden Hour San Ramon Family Session
Anyone who has been around children for any amount of time knows that life with little ones is FULL! Very very full. Yet some families seem to so effortlessly pull off still making time for what matters most — prioritizing each other and keeping their family’s love and connection at the forefront. This family does this so beautifully!
When this gorgeous mama Jessica reached out about a family session, she wasn’t quite sure if we could squeeze their session into their full schedule amidst all the sports, gymnastics, dance, and all the impressive extracurricular activities of her adorable children, Amelia (6) and Lucas (3). But thankfully we found a way!
We had to push the session a bit later than I’d typically recommend for the Golden Hour Lighting since their family came straight from a soccer game, so the sun was dipping down behind the hills as we started our time together — but on this beautiful golden evening in the San Ramon Hills, just being together and fully present was what shined through the most.
Amelia and Lucas radiated such joy and warmth. They laughed a lot and gave each other the most adorable little hugs. It was evident that they were both giving it their all for their parents, and that they have such a genuine, deep bond with each other too! So thoroughly heartwarming.
And watching Amelia and Lucas playing with their dad, Nicholas, brought me so much joy. Just from seeing his silly, sweet way of playing with his precious children and lovingly interacting with his stunning wife — you could tell that he really does put his family first, and to me, that’s priceless.
I am so honored to have been able to capture this sweet family’s portraits and to celebrate their love and connection even in the most busy of seasons. What a privilege to have a family like that.
