San Francisco Family Session with the Golden Gate Bridge || Overlooking the Bay

As a gal born in San Francisco and one who visited the City often throughout my growing up years, there’s something about a session with the Golden Gate Bridge that just hits different. This session with this adorable family certainly lived up to my high expectations + truly filled my cup.

This charming family is from Australia and only here in California for a few short years, so I am so grateful that I could have the privilege of meeting them and capturing some images of this sweet season in their life while they’re in the Bay. And the girls little Australian accents were so adorable!

When I first spoke with their stunning mama Lauren over the phone, she explained that finding her girls outfits would be bit of a challenge because the girls would inevitably want to wear what the other is wearing if they didn’t all wear the same thing…

She told me that when her twins both want to wear the same pair of shoes, they “share” by each just wearing one shoe from the set (and then a different shoe from another set on the other foot). What a brilliant idea from an amazing mama! And I can’t even handle the cuteness.

It was evident from the start of our session that Chris and Lauren are truly incredible parents. The way they cared for their girls (in the chilly San Francisco wind!) was genuinely so heartwarming. It was so clear to me that family means everything to them, and it really shone through in their gallery.

Capturing these girls’ sweet bonds with each other and with their amazing parents was such a joy. This session is certainly one that I will cherish forever, and I hope this sweet family will treasure these images for decades to come, even once the girls are many years past their shoe-sharing era. :)
